In 1976, Larry Bell of Appleton, WI, founded a company called Bell Locksmith. Larry was known as a man of integrity, deeply dedicated to his community and the Fox Valley area. For 34 years, he ran Bell Locksmith out of his home, building a reputation based on trust, quality workmanship, and fair pricing.

In 2010, Larry chose to pass the torch to a family member, Frank Gerke,  a man he trusted to serve the community with the same integrity and dependability that had always been the foundation of the business.

Frank took Bell Locksmith to the next level during the ten years he owned the company. In 2021, Frank began searching for the right person to carry on the Bell Locksmith name. He found that in Jesse Kaminski, who worked alongside Frank for over a year before officially taking the reins in November 2022 upon Frank’s retirement.

Today, Bell Locksmith is proudly owned and operated by Jesse Kaminski and his wife, Lindsay Kaminski. As co-owner and bookkeeper, Lindsay plays an essential role behind the scenes, managing daily operations and ensuring the business continues to run smoothly while upholding the strong values it was built upon.



Jesse has been a resident of the Fox Valley his entire life, and Jesse and Lindsay have proudly called Menasha home for the past 14 years. As a local family raising their 2½-year-old daughter, Jasnah, they are deeply rooted in and committed to the community they serve.

Family is at the heart of Bell Locksmith. Our beloved black lab, Neko, who has since passed, served as our mascot and still represents the trusted, loyal brand we stand behind today. She remains a meaningful part of our story. Alongside Neko’s legacy, Terra, Max, and Luna, our three other dogs, keep life busy and full at home.

Larry and Frank still lend their expertise to Jesse from time to time, but they both know that Jesse’s strong work ethic, commitment to quality craftsmanship, and fair, honest pricing, along with Lindsay’s dedication and attention to detail, will continue to uphold the name and character of Bell Locksmith for generations to come.
